I'm moving into my new apt tomorrow!

So yeah, it's official my lease for my amazing loft apartment in downtown/east Atlanta starts tomorrow. YAY!! I've never lived by myself before but it should be fucking awesome!!

Hi all!

Well I landed an ok job here in Atlanta at "Signs By Tomorrow."http://www.signsbytomorrow.com/alpharetta/

It's full time and it pays decent but I hope in time to be doing more sophisticated design.

Anywho, I'm officially moving to Georgia and I am super happy about that! Can't wait to get my own place, get some furniture and a kitty :)

I a currently in Conyers, GA in hopes of finding a job in Atlanta (or the surrounding area). 

I am a little bewildered as to where to start, but I hope that my three weeks here will bear some fruit. Any tips would be appreciated!!

Just Got Back from Boston, MA

I just got back from boston (i had never been there before) and my general impressions are this:

• Friendly peeps, could make insta-friends with everyone.
  
• Cold as fuck, even on beautiful, sunny days.
  
• Lack of style sense.  it's as if all the cold weather prevented them from developing a personal style; or they don't care. 
  
• Lot's of excellent bars and pale men :)
  

I would rather live there than new york, but not over chicago. I'll post pictures of the trip soon. :D

The Electric Grandmother is a film (based on an old twilight zone episode) i grew up with. it's weird, it's cheesy and great. It's about a family that loses their mom and get an electric grandmother to take care of them and comfort them.  they finally posted it on youtube (i always check for it now and then) and i was happy to see it.

JUST FINISHED MY NEW WEBSITE

Well, at least I have sent all the files necessary to finish the site to my programmer!! Dear god, it's been a lot of work and I know I will make a million changes but for now, it's done. Feels really good. Now, I need to redo/update my 13"x19" print portfolio!! WOOOOT

So I've been looking for a job, a real job, for months now. I had an interview with "Hasbro" but I didn't get the position. Times are hard, no doubt. But I hope, with all my heart that I find something. 

I feel pretty guilty because I didn't go to eric jones' going away party or the senior illustration show. mehhh

Oh well, you do the best you can! I hope everyone does well, and I wish them the best of luck. Here's a good luck bear!
